Family Moving
We are a three-generation household so we had a tremendous amount of belongings, but during the consultation they calmly broke everything down by category, which made cost prediction very clear. On moving day six veteran movers arrived and tackled the first floor and second floor simultaneously with separate routes - it looked like a perfectly choreographed team. They sorted my grandmother's lifetime collection of porcelain into dedicated boxes and wrapped each piece individually in newspaper - that really moved me. At the new home they even installed the appliances and ran test cycles, so we could resume normal life the very same day. If we ever move again, I'll absolutely call them back.
Studio Moving
I had to move out to a regional office on short notice from work, so the schedule was extremely tight, but they confirmed availability for the very next day after I requested a quote, which saved me. Even though it was a studio, I had a lot of books and clothes, yet two movers finished loading in just two hours. After a four-hour drive they unpacked at the new place without showing any fatigue. My bed frame was too big for the new doorway and had to be disassembled again - and they calmly handled it on their own, which I appreciated most. For a long-distance move the price was very reasonable, and they left a strong impression as a trustworthy company.
Family Moving
I was helping my parents with their move when I came across Move University. My mother has used a mother-of-pearl wardrobe for over thirty years, and I worried most about it being damaged - but the movers carefully removed the doors and padded every corner before lifting it, which truly put me at ease. Even though my elderly parents organized things slowly, the movers never rushed them, and they kept smiling each time my mother asked to reposition the furniture. They made sure my parents ate first at mealtime and finished with a thorough cleaning. My parents were beyond happy. It felt like I had finally done something properly for them.
Studio Moving
After five years of living alone, this was my first move into a two-bedroom, so I had no idea how much stuff I really had. The pre-visit estimator inspected everything carefully and arranged a 1.4-ton truck. On moving day they arrived ten minutes early, which already put me at ease. My bookshelf and wardrobe were tricky to disassemble, but they did it without any manual and reassembled everything even more solidly. They brought separate boxes just for my LP records and camera gear, and after the move they tidied up all the empty boxes too - it felt like a move-in cleaning was thrown in. The price was satisfying and I'll absolutely use them again.
Family Moving
We moved on the first day of the May long weekend, and despite my worries it went incredibly smoothly. With two young kids in tow, packing felt overwhelming, but the five movers connected through Move University immediately divided up roles the moment they arrived. They wrapped every large piece of furniture with protective padding, and even moved the clothes still on hangers, so I had no re-organizing to do. I asked them to reposition furniture two or three times in the new place, and they did it without ever showing irritation. The quote was more reasonable than two other companies and aside from one ladder-truck fee there were no extras. Truly grateful.
